MapleMaple and her best friend Abby were scheduled to be put to death on January 3, 2023 in a crowded rural dog pound. When our team learned of their circumstances, we jumped at the opportunity to help! Maple gave birth to her 7 babies, only 12 days after they all would have died!
This girl is nearly perfect - she loves with her entire heart & soul, and seeks only to please. She does have a strong prey drive and avidly hunts armadillos (see video below), and cannot be considered chicken-safe. She has gotten along with every dog she has met, while in our care! Maple truly is one of those once-in-a-lifetime dogs. Now that her babies are weaned & have started finding their forever homes - Maple is almost ready for adoption!
