Operation Santa Paws
Operation Santa Paws is an annual community outreach program funded solely by community donations and local sponsorships. The Christmas season can be one of much hardship for so many families in our region. Unfortunately, it can be the family pets who suffer the most.
The inaugural Operation Santa Paws 2021, Circle L Rescue provided Christmas stockings, treats, dog food and other goodies to 5 local families in need. Additionally, the Circle L Rescue Team was surprised by a MASSIVE blessing from Simmons Foods of several thousand pounds of dog food! The CLR Team distributed the dog food at a walk-through event in Locust Grove, Oklahoma - where over 120 families were served!
Operation Santa Paws 2022 provided 10 dogs with spay or neuter surgery, plus all age-appropriate vaccinations and microchip. In addition, each dog received a blessing box of dog food, kennel, dog bed and other goodies.
Rounding off the blessings of 2022, Circle L Rescue received a grant from the Petfinder Foundation, sponsoring the adoption fees for TEN rescue dogs!

By providing FREE spay/neuter surgeries, plus dog food and other necessities - we aim to reduce the rate of surrendered or dumped dogs! Spaying and neutering pets remains the fundamental tool in reducing the unwanted pet population.
